For over 60 years, the Val-Test® Group has provided world-class purchasing power to their diverse collective of global distributors & retailers of hardware supply. For many professionals in the trades, stepping into a Home Depot is a thing of the past. They rely on companies like Val-Test® for the best stock & pricing available. In short, during the Covid shutdown in 2020, Val-Test® entrusted me with the task of designing a new online fingerprint & managing a complete overhaul of their member marketing process. New look. New feel. New everything. This project was about the details, both big & small.

    I knew Val-Test held special memories for older folks, but it couldn't be stuck in the past. I spearheaded a vibrant refresh, breathing new life into color palettes, fonts & visuals aimed at respecting the past while igniting the future. Our logos dance with a modern edge & the Val-Test story reshaped itself to echo modern threads within the hardware industry. This wasn't a facelift; it was a bridge connecting generations.

    Honoring the Val-Test legacy was paramount, but I knew nostalgia wouldn't fuel growth. I championed a bold vision that preserved its core values & essence while embracing evolution. We kept the heart of the hardware distributor intact, but adapted our offerings & approach to meet the shifting needs of professionals & consumers in a dynamic eCommerce landscape.

    The Val-Test name holds trust built over decades. Remember old ads our grandpa used to point out with nostalgia? They weren't just marketing gold, they were a testament to our brand's enduring values. Overall, I felt our niche was to subtly weave that history into our messaging, reminding people of the craftsmanship & dedication that have stood the test of time.

    I further developed member marketing campaigns by creating content focused on the buyer journey. By understanding distributor needs & offering valuable information at every stage, I helped convert casual B2B browsers into loyal customers for our members.

Measurable metrics tracked every click, scroll & conversion giving us a real-time pulse of the campaign's effectiveness. No more flying blind.

    For Val-Test, I identified high-value target accounts & implemented strategies like retargeting campaigns & personalized sequential ad experiences across multiple channels to deepen engagement & nurture relationships.
